Product Description:
When the GKH horizontal scraper discharge centrifuge hits its rated speed, the feed valve turns on. The suspension flows into the drum via the distribution hopper and spreads evenly on the filtration medium. Centrifugal force separates liquid and solids — liquid exits through the medium and drum holes, and solids pile up into a dense filter cake. When sediment reaches the preset thickness, the feed valve closes for rinsing and drying. The rotating scraper then scrapes off the sediment, which is discharged through a chute or screw conveyor.
